JWD Transport – now ready to participate in every transportation mode
and progress to achieve the target of becoming a public company!

As another principal business unit under JWD Group, JWD Transport has developed concrete movement and growth under the leadership of Mr. Bordin Tanthaphaiboon, Managing Director.

Today we are going to summarize significant development of JWD – beginning from its starting point to the main target to be achieved in the next 2 years, including the transportation under its Transport group which offers full services in every transportation mode, unmatched by any other transportation company.

JWD Transport offers 7 key services:

1. Multimodal Transport 

Multimodal transportation offers the connectivity from Laem Chabang Deep-Sea Port to the modes
1) Road transportation & nationwide distribution
2) Maritime transportation provides the movement and the uplifting services at Laem Chabang coastal port
3) Rail transportation to destinations in Thailand and Laos
2. Automotive Transport

The transportation of automotive, starting from receiving auto parts from manufacturers to assembling factories and eventually obtaining finished car products to deliver to car distribution centers nationwide or to transport them to sea port for exportation – including the distribution to car service centers across the country
3. General Cargo Transport

The transportation and distribution of general goods service — both partial and full truckloads of 4-wheel, 6- wheel and 10-wheel trucks – by gathering and delivering goods to distribution centers in regions for further transportation to destinations nationwide
4. Cold Chain Transport

The delivery service of temperature-controlled goods nationwide – keeping up +25 to -18 degree Celsius, by different vehicles of 4-wheel, 6- wheel and 10-wheel trucks
5. Cold Chain Express

The express delivery service of temperature-controlled goods nationwide, with the cooperation of JWD’s solid alliances ‘Thailand Post’ and ‘Flash Express’ – employing ‘coolbox’ technology which is able to keep the temperature steadily up to 36 hours
6. Cross Border Transport

The delivery across Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) borders and China – both general goods, temperature-controlled goods and automotive – including customs clearance and permission request services
7. Heavy Cargo Transport

The transportation of extra-large goods such as factory machines and medical equipment – with assembling and installation services by a professional team

Dr.Eakapong Tungsrisanguan Delivers a Lecture on “Thailand Logistics and ASEAN Countries” at Thammasat Business School

On 31 January, Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan, CFO JWD was invited by Thammasat Business School to be a lecture on “Thailand Logistic and ASEAN Countries” for exchange students from Aoyama Business School and Meiji Business School. 

JWD Along with the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University Open for Internships in the Management Trainee Program

On 27 January, The People & Culture Department, JWD Group together with the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University has opened for the internships in the Management Trainee Program 2022 to enhance learning from real-life experience in logistics business. In addition, the company has joined the online job fair to introduce the business and promote the program.

JWD Health ConneX in Affiliated with JWD Group and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University Sign MoU to Enhance the Medical Management

On 11 January, Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan, CEO JWD Health ConneX and Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the medical management in developing the Healthcare Supply Chain and Logistic skills for the entrepreneurs in the industry.

The Mark the Auspicious Pile Ceremony for a New Joint Venture Company between JWD and TU to Build a Cold Storage Warehouse in Mahachai as a Storage Support for Thai Union Raw Materials

On 8 January, Mr. Jitchai Nimitpanya, Deputy CEO, Mr. Nakorn Niruttinanon, MD, Thai Union Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and the executive representatives joined in the auspicious piling ceremony for a cold storage warehouse of Pacific Tum Cold Storage Co., Ltd. (PACT) which is a joint venture company between the Pacific Cold Storage Co., Ltd. and the Thai Union Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to build the robotics ASRS cold storage for storing raw materials or products of TUM group company which can be beneficial in helping to reduce labor costs and provide high accuracy. The cold storage will be managed by the Pacific Cold Storage Co., Ltd. and ready to provide services in December 2022.

JWD Store It! Marks the Auspicious Pile for the 7th Branch Expansion – The Lat Phrao Flagship Store

Mr. Vasin Supavej, General Manager, JWD Store It! presided over the auspicious piling ceremony at JWD Store It!, Lat Phrao Branch which is the flagship store and will be ready to operate in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
  • Greater than 4,000 sqm storage space with 6-storey building in 1 Rai area
  • A space for rent of over 2,000 sqm
  • A storage space for 7 cars (drive-in)
  • A working space with product photography studio

FINNO-HEALTH in Affiliated with JWD Group Offers Trusted COVID-19 Screening Service to More Than 2,000 Persons at the 2022 BamBam Fan Meeting in BKK

On 1 – 2 January, FINNO-HEALTH and JWD Health ConneX which developed ATK Passport system and the mobile testing units for COVID-19 provided trusted COVID-19 screening service to more than 2,000 persons at the 2022 BamBam Fan Meeting in BKK and issued the digital ATK certificate which can store data and view the results in real time through the mobile phone.
