JWD was selected for inclusion in SET’s 2019 list of THSI stock

JWD was selected for inclusion in the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s (or SET’s) 2019 list of Thailand Sustainability Investment (or THSI) stocks in the second year. We operate its business sustainably and to achieve goals that are not limited to great corporate profit but also excellence in such areas as transparency, integrity, stakeholders’ welfare or social and environmental causes.

Thank you for your contributions to our collective efforts to move the organization forward.
THSI list is a list of listed firms that operate businesses sustainably and pay attention to environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. It facilitates the decision-making of the investors who subscribe to the notion of “sustainable investing” as an approach to achieving constant and long-term returns.

CORPORATE EVENTS

Students and lecturers from ABAC visit ASRS-equipped cold storage

On 31 October, Mr. Tanate Piriyothinkul (CCO) spoke on the topic “Logistics Revolution & Future Trends” to students and lecturers from ABAC and visited Buildings 8, the first public cold storage plants in Thailand to be equipped with an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS).

JWD executives welcome representatives from ADIZES 

On 29 October, Mrs. Achara Nimitpanya (Director) and Mr. Tanate Piriyothinkul (CCO) welcomed representatives from ADIZES to visit our first public ASRS cold storage in Thailand at Mahachai.

JWD top executives congratulate CJ Logistics (Thailand) on the occasion of the grand opening of Smart Hub Bangna

On 28 October, JWD executives congratulated our strategic partner from South Korea, CJ Logistics (Thailand) at the grand opening of Smart Hub Bangna. The capacity of the hub is up to 408,000 parcels per day, with automated sorting systems.

JWD organizes Team Building activity 

During 26-27 October, Managements and 150 representatives staff from JWD’s subsidiaries participated in Team Building activity: creativity leads to success. The activity can bring people together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork within JWD Group.

DataSafe holds 2019 fire control training and drills

On 25 October, DataSafe organised fire control training and drills for 2019 to enhance participants’ understanding about basic firefighting fire evacuation operations for workplace safety.

On 21 October, Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan (CFO) shared key challenges & and techniques of successful investor relation roles, which was organized by Stock Exchange of Thailand

PCS’s 2019 merit-making ceremony

On 9 October, PCS held its annual merit-making ceremony (including giving alms, making merit and sponsoring a meal to monks) at our new building 8 to mark an auspicious start for the company and its employees.

DataSafe holds Big Cleaning Day

On 11 October, Datasafe organized the Big Cleaning Day event presented
on His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial Day on 13 October 2019. The staff collected garbage, swept the floor, and mowed the lawn in front of the warehouse and office.
 

Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan (CFO) speaks on the topic “Driving corporate governance for the new generation of executives”

On 7 October, Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan (CFO) was invited from King Prajadhipok’s Institute to sharing experiences on the topic of “Driving corporate governance for the new generation of executives”.

JVK and BJL make a donation to Chinditwiharn Temple

On 7 October, JVK and BJL’s representatives gave 100 chairs and money donations to Chinditwiharn Temple. 

JWD Cold Chain and DITS join workshop to develop 2020 business plan

During 6-7 October, JWD cold chain group (PCS, PLP, JPAC, JPK and DITS) joined workshop to develop business plan for year 2020 at Oakwood Hotel Residence.

JWD executives welcome 38 analysts at ASRS cold storage,  Mahachai 

Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada (CEO), Mr. Jitchai Nimitpanya (deputy CEO), and Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan (CFO) welcomed 38 analysts and investors who visited our Thailand’s first public cold storage facilities that use Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS) in Mahachai.
