CEO TALK 2018

During JWD Group’s “CEO TALK 2018” internal roadshow activity, conducted between 23 and 26 July 2018, Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, JWD’s CEO, visited and made 8 rounds of discussions with JWD employees, with focuses on 4 core strategies to drive JWD business for success, which had been adopted to ensure sustainable growths and achievement of the stated goals:

  1. Operations Excellence – Set warehousing operations standards to ensure excellence.
  2. Human Resource Excellence – Improve human resource management to attract and retain talents and enhance professional aptitudes.
  3. IT is Everything – Improve IT management to create a pool of data for logistics planning, tracking and operations.
  4. Network is the King – Build and operate a logistics network to secure competitive advantages.

JWD’s CFO invited by SET to speak at ‘CFO Getting Together 2018’ event

On 25 July 2018, Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan, JWD’s CFO, was invited by Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) to speak at “CFO Getting Together 2018” forum on “The art of CFO in modern era” before more than 100 CFOs from different listed companies.

JWD’s CEO officially launches spiral freezer at Pacific Cold Storage

On 23 July 2018, Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, JWD’s CEO, officially began the operation of a spiral freezer at Pacific Cold Storage Co., a JWD company. With a production capacity of 1.5 tonnes per hour, the machine relays foods on a spiral belt and exposes them to continuous cold air blast until their core’s temperature is below -18oC.

JWD’s Cold Storage renovates Thepnorarat School

On 21 July 2018, Pacific Cold Storage Co. conducted activities to renovate Thepnorarat School, located opposite to its plant, in order to build healthy relationships with neighbours. Participants included employees from all departments and teachers and students at the school.

JWD welcomed CEO and founder from USA,EU and ASEAN from Stanford Sloan Reunion in BKK, to share perspective about logistics business insight and how to compete within the region and globally

JWD’s Cold Storage offers scholarships

On 19 July 2018, Pacific Cold Storage Co. held a ceremony during which children of its employees were awarded 15 scholarships worth a total of THB 33,500.

Auspicious annual merit-making ceremony at JWD’s Cold Storage

On 19 July 2018, Pacific Cold Storage Co. held an annual merit-making ceremony for year 2018, which involved the giving of offerings and a meal to Buddhist monks in order to bring good luck to the company and boost employee morale. A rite was also performed for a spiral freezer with a capacity to produce 1.5 tonnes of frozen food products per hour.

JWD’s CEO invited by KBANK to speak on ‘Overall Corporate Management’

On 9 July 2018, Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, CEO, was invited by Kasikornbank PCL to speak before the bank’s executives at a seminar entitled “Overall Corporate Management”, including on topics about logistics management and customer service approaches.

Wilson International Frozen Foods visitors at JWD Pacific

On 6 July 2018, the team at JWD Pacific, a JWD company, welcomed visitors from Wilson International Frozen Foods, a Hong Kong-based importer and distributor of frozen food products, who inspected the cold storage and frozen storage facilities and the Free Zone in order to explore opportunities for future cooperation.

JWD STORE IT!, Thailand’s first full-scale air-conditioned self-storage facilities, are now up and running!
The entire facilities, which provide one to 11 sq.m. space for rent, are air-conditioned to allow the articles stored to remain in good conditions throughout the storage period. With keycard systems, they are accessible on a 24/7 basis.
