JWD wins contracting services to operate container lifting & moving at barge terminal

 

JWD was selected to be a party in hiring sub-contractors to operate containers handling service at the Terminal A from the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT).

Capacity 300,000 TEU per year

The objectives of the project are as follows;

  • To support a shift mode of transportation from land to water.
  • To be a role model of a coastal terminal with a systematic and advanced management.
  • To upgrade Laem Chabang Port to be an integrated marine transportation hub.

 
The operations are managed by Transport Operation System & Truck Management System. 

The main required task for JWD is lifting & moving containers. The company will be unloading outbound containers from coastal vessels, loading them onto vehicles, moving to the container depot and vice versa for inbound containers.
