A marked uptick in food deliveries during COVID-19

With social distancing the new norm, consumers are clamoring to have takeout food delivered. Third-party delivery services are partnering with businesses large and small.

JWD Cold Chain Express has launched a delivery service during this period and it gained positive responses. Our uniqueness of the service is that we deliver temperature controlled products by reefer truck which means your food stays fresh no different from dining at the restaurants. Apart from that we help managing a complete food delivery system by advanced food ordering system. Here is list of our customers for the soft launch phase: Rich’s, Synova Sukishi, Penguin Eat Shabu, Mahachai Food, etc.

JWD Cold Cain Express is now ready to serve B2C market with full capacity. We have just launched the first pick-up and delivery drop point at Yodpiman Flower Market (Pak Klong Talat).

JWD delivers food to support fight against COVID-19

Mr. Jitchai Nimitpanya, Deputy CEO and Mrs. Achara Nimitpanya, MD of Cold Chain Business presented face shields and over 10,000 pieces of fresh baked bakery to the Samut Sakhon Provincial Hospital and other government agencies i.e. Department of Medical Services, Ramathibodi Hospital, Operation Centre for the Resolution of Emergency Situation for Security in Bangkok Area (Bangkok Naval Base), Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration office at Royal Thai Navy Sattahip area, COVID-19 screening centres at Suvarnabhumi and Donmueang airports, etc.

Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan, CFO lectures "Logistics Business in Thailand"

On 10 April, Dr. Eakapong Tungsrisanguan CFO gave an online lecture on the topic of “Logistics Business in Thailand” to students at Thammasat Business School to share knowledge and exchange working experiences in logistics industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.
