Announcement on the development regarding the merger between SCG
Logistics Management Company Limited and JWD InfoLogistics Public
Company Limited
JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited (Company) hereby informs all customers and
business partners of this momentous development in the quest to advance the business
capability to grow exponentially and sustainably, and be able to provide seamless and
integrated logistics and supply chain services within the ASEAN region, and to help foster
more competitive and far-reaching advantages through highly effective logistics and supply
chain management.
As such, on October 26, 2022, the 6/2022 meeting of the Company Board of Directors resolved to table for approval at the Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the business merger by swapping of newly-issued ordinary shares of the Company with ordinary shares in SCG Logistics Management Company Limited (SCGL) (a 98.20-percent subsidiary of Siam Cement Public Company Limited [SCC]), at which, the Company has obtained approval from the shareholders for this business merger with SCGL.
Presently, on February 14, 2023, the Company has acted on the shareholders’ resolution by completing the share swap process and has proceeded with other necessary procedures, namely:
1. Change the Company name to SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited (Effective from February 14, 2023)
2. Change the Company’s brand logo to be as shown below (Effective from February 14, 2023)
The SCGJWD logo, the concept of which has been approved, remains the same, denoting the combined strength of the two brands linked by colour bands that illustrate the stylized “infinity” symbol signifying boundless and sustainable growth with the ultimate objective to become “ASEAN’s most trusted leader in logistics and supply chain”.
Lastly, please rest assured that the Company remains committed to developing logistics and supply chain services to cover all needs and demands, and that the development mentioned will in no way affect the current services.
